Pregnancy Tests

Pregnancy symptoms, such as a missed period, don’t always mean you are pregnant. Our pregnancy tests are 99% accurate, 100% confidential and the results will be available within minutes.

Ultrasound

Following a positive pregnancy test, it is important to have an ultrasound. Ultrasounds provide the insight needed to make an informed and empowered decision for an unplanned pregnancy! They determine three key things about your pregnancy: placement, viability, and gestational age. At Hope of the Delta, we offer limited obstetrical ultrasounds performed by specially trained nurses.

STI Testing & Treatment*

It’s important to acknowledge that if you’re sexually active, it’s quite common to have been exposed to an STI at some point. You might be contemplating getting tested, and we get it – it can feel a bit uncomfortable. But let’s put things in perspective: there’s absolutely no need to feel ashamed when you’re taking charge of your health!

Here are three compelling reasons why considering STI testing is a smart move:

  1. Not All STIs Show Symptoms:
Most people don’t realize they have an STI because they don’t have symptoms. Chlamydia, for instance – up to 75% of women with it don’t have symptoms. Infections can easily fly under the radar until a partner gets diagnosed or problems arise down the road.
  2. They’re More Common Than You Might Think:
STI’s are surprisingly common, especially among young people. In 2020, more than half of reported STD cases occurred in teenagers and young adults aged 15–24. The CDC estimates that 1 in 5 people has an STI. So, if you’re sexually active, there’s a good chance you’ve encountered an STI at some point, whether you were aware of it or not.
  3. Different Forms of Contact Can Transmit STIs:
If you’ve never had vaginal intercourse, you might assume you’re safe from STIs. However, it’s important to know that some STIs can be transmitted through other forms of contact, including anal sex, oral sex, or even kissing. Getting tested is a wise move, even if you haven’t engaged in intimate sexual contact with your partner. This not only helps prevent further infections but also ensures that both of you receive the necessary care and support.

Remember, taking care of your sexual health is a responsible and self-empowering choice. It’s all about making sure you and your partner are safe and well.

*STI testing is only available at the Pine Bluff Center at this time.

After Abortion Care

Most people don’t realize that abortion can be emotionally devastating. Sadly, the fallout can come immediately or decades later, and most suffer in silence. Some even endure a range of painful effects, from regret and depression to addiction even thoughts of suicide.

If you or someone you know has experienced an abortion, these questions may have come to mind:

  • Why am I an emotional wreck?
  • Can I really overcome my guilt?
  • Can I forgive him?
  • Can I ever forgive myself?
  • Will my depression ever end?
  • What happened to my aborted child?
  • Does God really care about me?

WE CAN HELP

We can help answer these questions. We have trained facilitators who have experienced the same fallout, understand where you are, and want to help you find freedom. Facilitators will guide you through a special study program that lets you control your conflicting emotions, free you of guilt, find courage, renew your mind, experience God’s grace, and much more. Please know that we protect your privacy and confidentiality. Call or come by our center to learn more about our after-abortion care.
